conventional, Mirka ventured into uncharted territories 15 years ago by
birthing the widely acclaimed heavy rock band for children,
’Hevisaurus.’ This innovative endeavor not only captivated young
audiences but also earned Mirka the prestigious Emma Award in 2011, the
Finnish equivalent of a Grammy, underscoring his versatility and impact
across diverse musical spheres.
Fueling his boundless creativity,
Mirka conceptualized the idea of a solo album, giving birth to the
inaugural opus, ”Come One Come All,” released through Frontiers Music in
2021. Featuring a constellation of vocal talents, including Elise Ryd,
Johnny Gioeli, Marko Hietala, Danny Vaughn, Rick Altzi, and more, the
album received widespread acclaim, setting the stage for a resounding
success.
Unyielding in his artistic pursuit, Mirka continued to push
the boundaries, unveiling the second album, ”Lost Behind The Mask,” in
2023. The lineup boasted luminaries such as Jeff Scott Soto, Mark Boals,
Bernie Shaw, Mr Lordi, David Readman, and others, further cementing
Circus Of Rock’s standing as a musical force to be reckoned with.
Eager
to share their sonic tapestry with live audiences, Circus Of Rock
embarked on a short Finnish tour in the spring 2023, leaving fans
clamoring for more. Undeterred, Mirka looks toward the future with
unwavering determination, currently immersed in the pre-production of
the third album.
In a significant milestone, Mirka Rantanen recently
inked a contract with Lions Pride Music, signifying a new chapter in the
saga of Circus Of Rock. The stage is set for an exhilarating

In September 2024, Mirka published an official statement that Circus of Rock, has officially transformed into a real band.
He
got the legendary Mark Boals (Yngwie Malmsteen, Dokken, Ted Nugent and
more) as vocalist, and third album ”Hellfire” will be released with an
official band in June 2025.
